Hamlet
The play Shakespeare wrote called Hamlet, was simply strange. It began with an unusual situation in a family of royalty. The play then became a plot of revenge, and dramatic scenes. There were acts of betrayal and trite. It finished with a sad ending, revealing the families true flaws. In the play there were weak characters. They were Claudius, Polonius, and Ophelia. Claudius had a weakness for dealing with problems in his kingdom he took. Polonius was an arrogant, stupid man who had no background with authority. He was very fearful of many people. Ophelia as well was very weak since she was subdued to authority very easily. The strong characters were Hamlet and Horatio. They both were witty throughout the play, as they battled against the odds. Peronsally, I would not like to know Hamlet being that he is very manipulative and witty. I would not it if I was trying to be played. He is also very emotional and sensitive, with many dramatic occurences. This would drive me crazy being that I dislike dealing with these situations. I like friends to leave this part of their life out of our relationship. Hamlet and Ophelia would not make a good partner. They both have issues involving insanity. They are two very different people, but they both are a little bit insane. Hamlet and Ophelia would not have made a good people. They are very different from eachother, even though they were in love. They were not a good couple because of their marrital situation, and their personalities. Hamlet is just not compatiable with many people. I found Horatio to be a fairly interesting character. He remained at distant from the dramatic fights within the Hamlet family. He still remained friends with Hamlet, and secretly helped him through his hard times. He is a character of honesty and loyalty, which is not consistent in the play. This is why I would want to talk to him, and find out his feelings on the ending. He is the last person left, and has knowledge of everything that happened. He has record of why it happened, which makes him the reason the play is told. This gives him a greater understanding, which is why I would want his take on the situation that occurred.

Middle Eastern Food
Many times a year, I go to my relative's house for dinner. My relatives from my father's side are Lebanese. Many of them have deep roots, which gives me the opportunity to try many new Middle Eastern foods. At my relative's house, there is never a shortage of food, and as soon as the food begins to come out of the kitchen, it is a never ending process. This makes it very difficult not to over-stuff my stomach. The meals are very memorable, as well as tasty. The food my aunt Lucy makes is almost all Lebanese food, with few exceptions. This makes dinner very exquisite. When it comes to dessert, my aunt usually makes many by hand. When eating the meal, I usually feel a sense of respect for all the food made. The meal is usually prepared many days in advance to the event, as well the preparation. The whole process of making the food is very long, making it very savory when eaten. When I am at my relative's house, it is more often than not I find myself trying to eat as much food as possible. It makes me feel terrible when my aunt goes to all the trouble of cooking and I do not eat a lot. Therefore, I usually starve myself the day the dinner occurs. This way I am starving by the time I go to their house. The dinners are very unique, as well as special. It gives me an understanding, as well as a feeling of being tied to my heritage, being that I am half Lebanese.

Show Not Tell
It begins with the right combination. It requires accuracy in its process. A sandwich needs to be prepared in the right order. I usually like bacon combined with cheese, meat, and tomato. I also add sauces such as ranch, and sometimes a little mayo. A good sandwich has diced up lettuce that is fresh. As a whole, a sandwich is little without some tender meat in its center. An array of different meats and cheeses combined makes a sandwich go to another level. Sometimes I like to add a little avocado. It all just depends on what type of sandwich the day calls for. The best part about a sandwich is the ability to stack them high with meat and other food. It can make a small snack into a larger sandwich.

My View of Food
Food has many places in people's lives. It is part of everyone's world, and takes up a large portion of people's days. The food a person consumes makes up as a whole. However, this depends on the variety and type of meals they eat. What a person eats also can describe a person more in depth. It can provide details on a person's lifestyle, choices, and beliefs. Religion is also connected to food because it is often a lifestyle people lead. A person's diet is most often dictated in their beliefs, which is part of your lifestyle, culture, and religion. Food is not so much as something you eat to survive. It is something much more than that, such as a way to live. All of which are reasons making food very important, making it a large part of everyday life.

I'm Tim...
As a person, I am very simple. I have found high school to be very boring. It was only until recently that I have started to enjoy school. This is mostly due to my schedule, being that I have only four periods everyday. I also attend an automotive class at Skyline on the weekend as my fifth period. This gives me a chance to continue with my true passion in life, working on cars. In Junior year, I was given the opportunity of restoring a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro. Over time my car has become very sentimental to me, not to mention respresents many hours of work I have done. Everytime I drive my car, I appreciate all the work I did. My camaro started out as a wreck with everything broken and worn out. Through many painstaking months of working around the clock, I was able to turn it into street ready machine. Being able to restore an old muscle car from the 60's was a special chance. It has teached me patience, as well as given me a mechanical background. It has also has given me a chance to learn a lot about cars and how they work. One of my problems in life is my lack of interest for many things. If I do not have interest in something, I have a hard time doing it. That's why I try to do things I have interest in.
